• About
“momente – Everyday-Oriented Political Education” is a publication developed by TH Köln, focusing on how political awareness arises in the everyday lives of young people. The project explores how informal spaces in youth work can enable participation, critical thinking, and democratic engagement. For this project, I designed both the print and online magazine, creating a clear, accessible layout structure with information and explanation boxes that guide readers through complex content. Together with the editorial team, we ensured that the magazine is barrier-reduced and inclusive — texts were recorded and made available as audio versions for people with dyslexia or reading difficulties, allowing for alternative access to information. The design approach emphasizes clarity, accessibility, and visual orientation, turning academic research into an approachable, practical tool for educators and practitioners. A project that combines editorial design, digital design, and accessible communication — making political education tangible and inclusive.
